The Ice Cream Queen Cometh...

The Apprentice's Jennifer Maguire

Video: Watch the moment Lindi is fired

Lindi may have been the one who got the boot after the ice-cream marketing task but last night it was all about Jennifer.

Yes, we have a new villain in our midst as Jennifer steps forward to stake her claim as The Apprentice's resident bitch.

We'd always suspected that the self-proclaimed 'best salesperson in Europe' was a nasty piece of work - let's be honest, the constant scowling and eye-rolling was a bit of a giveaway and last night she confirmed our suspicions.

When Jennifer found herself in the firing line, alongside Lindi and Lucinda, she wasted no time in turning on closest pal Lindi in an effort to save her own neck.

It worked as Lindi became the latest hopeful to get the sack. It certainly wasn't undeserved though because, as head of the sales team, half of the appointments Lindi had set up were with businesses that already made their own ice-cream (next week they try to sell ice to the eskimos?).

There was a definite chill in the house when Jennifer returned and quizzed the others about whether they thought she was an ice queen. That'll be a yes then! Annoyingly the cameras then cut away - we want to know what happened next! Maybe they should film the candidates 24 hours around the clock next year and show the best bits from the house on BBC3?

This is certainly bound to stir things up over the coming weeks. In particular, Jennifer now thinks Helene has been talking about her - we'd love to see this pair square up to each other. Let's hope they are in the same teams next week.

The other big story of the week was Lucinda's emergence as a potentional dark horse to win the series. We all love an underdog and Lucinda has certainly tugged at our heartstrings over the past few weeks as we've seen her bullied by the other members of her team.

Last night, as team-leader, she gained the support of her team (apart from Jennifer of course) and even Sir Alan's aide Margaret was full of support for her. Also, call us shallow, but her kooky fashion sense also makes her the best dressed candidate for the job. Lucinda to win!

Interestingly, last week's villain Claire took Sir Alan's advice on board and kept her head down and got on with the task as team leader. Was she really a great team leader or was she just lucky? We're not convinced. Whiney Alex continued to play the blame game - let's hope he gets another shot at being in charge soon to see how he copes.

What did you think of last night's show? Should Jennifer have been sacked? Who do you think will win the series?

Jennifer is the only female candidate that could possible deliver the goods for Sir Alan, and i believe she will win. If the ice queen can warm up its in the bag!

Jennifer should of been sacked.. Not just because shes a dick, but shes a liar! Same goes for Helene! I was shocked at how the show cut away to a clip of Helene saying 'If anyone is sacked, I'd like it to be Jennifer. She makes everyone feel uncomftable, me included'. Then when Lucinda stated that Helene didn't like Jennifer.. Helene comes back all embarrassed about it & then claims it's a complete lie & that infect Lucinda makes her umcomftable! The look on Lucindas face as people were lying to her face! It was just unbelievable.. But what was worse was Jennifer.. Completely pushing the blame on Lindi about the inclusive deal, THEN having a go at Lucinda, saying she pushes the blame on everyone.. THEN going back into the house and saying 'Yep, I took the blame, held my hands up to my mistake'. Dickhead lol.. Actually made me mad watching last nights episode.. Jennifer to GO!!

I was so pleased for Lucinda last night. What a good leader. She organised the teams to their best potential - made sure it ran smoothly but did not grab the limelight and let the mouthy pushy sales people take the credit. I think she's superb, I hope she wins. What shame Jennifer couldn't bring herself to accredit praise where praise was due. I watched Lindi on BBC2 afterwards and she still thought she is the best thing since sliced bread and shouldn't have been sacked - reality check needed! I think she was totally out of her depth on this programme!
