- Video: Watch the moment Lindi is fired
Lindi may have been the one who got the boot after the ice-cream marketing task but last night it was all about Jennifer.
Yes, we have a new villain in our midst as Jennifer steps forward to stake her claim as The Apprentice's resident bitch.
We'd always suspected that the self-proclaimed 'best salesperson in Europe' was a nasty piece of work - let's be honest, the constant scowling and eye-rolling was a bit of a giveaway and last night she confirmed our suspicions.
When Jennifer found herself in the firing line, alongside Lindi and Lucinda, she wasted no time in turning on closest pal Lindi in an effort to save her own neck.
It worked as Lindi became the latest hopeful to get the sack. It certainly wasn't undeserved though because, as head of the sales team, half of the appointments Lindi had set up were with businesses that already made their own ice-cream (next week they try to sell ice to the eskimos?).
There was a definite chill in the house when Jennifer returned and quizzed the others about whether they thought she was an ice queen. That'll be a yes then! Annoyingly the cameras then cut away - we want to know what happened next! Maybe they should film the candidates 24 hours around the clock next year and show the best bits from the house on BBC3?
This is certainly bound to stir things up over the coming weeks. In particular, Jennifer now thinks Helene has been talking about her - we'd love to see this pair square up to each other. Let's hope they are in the same teams next week.
The other big story of the week was Lucinda's emergence as a potentional dark horse to win the series. We all love an underdog and Lucinda has certainly tugged at our heartstrings over the past few weeks as we've seen her bullied by the other members of her team.
Last night, as team-leader, she gained the support of her team (apart from Jennifer of course) and even Sir Alan's aide Margaret was full of support for her. Also, call us shallow, but her kooky fashion sense also makes her the best dressed candidate for the job. Lucinda to win!
Interestingly, last week's villain Claire took Sir Alan's advice on board and kept her head down and got on with the task as team leader. Was she really a great team leader or was she just lucky? We're not convinced. Whiney Alex continued to play the blame game - let's hope he gets another shot at being in charge soon to see how he copes.
What did you think of last night's show? Should Jennifer have been sacked? Who do you think will win the series?

You cant disagree though you would defo nail Jennifer. She has that Irish charm that you just want to f*ck. I bet she is an absolute animal in the bedroom. She wont be short of a job after this program.

That was so unexpected and very bitchy of her turn on her so called 'second in command' team colleague!?? I hope she goes next week and gets booed off!!! There's no justice in keeping the 'bitch' in the show!

Posted by: mcdonnell788 on Thu Apr 24 01:36PM | Report abuseLets face it, its not about business skills is it? Its just about silly characters who all love themselves more than anything else. I mean, Jennifer saying "the best sales woman in Europe" Why Europe?, what a brainless statement!...whats all that about ...planet Mars maybe!! Its great how the winning team pat themselves of the back and stroke their own egos despite how pathetically they bumbled their way past the winning line, and then how the losing team just turn on each other at the drop of a hat! Bunch of shallow fools!
Posted by: relentless_2004 on Thu Apr 24 01:36PM | Report abuseIn response to post # 65 by Hardy0846 - I'm sure Sir Alan is highly concerned by astounding revelation about your nickname for his multi-billion pound empire and I'm sure he will endeavour to respond to your juvenile and uneducated spoutings from the back of his £330,000 chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce. Sir Alan Sugar is not being made a hero - he's an inspiration. This country is not nasty, greedy, selfish or self-serving - there's a big financial pie out there and people like Sugar work hard to ensure they get a big slice of it, but I guess you wouldn't understand that, which is why you're a manager at Rumbelows.
