Seriously what do you expect? OF COURSE Sir Alan is operating to raise the entertainment value of the show! The publicity it brings him and his organisation MORE than offsets whatever he'll spend on wages for the eventual winner! Each and every candidate is (in business terms) an absolute nightmare! As both a businessman and TV producer myself I KNOW that the reality of this exercise would make VERY dull viewing. It's a freak show! Enjoy!
