Most of the footage of this first episode of the Apprentice showed persons who appear to believe that an aggresive attitude to business,fellow competitors & the public is axiomatic to success in life & the workplace.Leaders are dedicated,determined & brave persons who are neither aggressive to nor dismissive of others.Leaders value the gifts of the team & motivate it to achieve the task successfully. Leaders learn from situations & people,generate ideas & enthusiasm & are an amalgam of humility & courage. They are free of cant.They respect the task,the team, the market & take responsibility for THEIR decisions.Success pivots on clear thought,clear planning & efficient execution of the task however challenging. These self-ful candidates demonstrate few of the above qualities. There is some doubt that these young turks,without a damascene revelation will become vibrant future leaders. Is there a REAL "apprentice" amongst the crop? Over to you Sir Alan!
