I cannot understand how or why eastenders has won best soap yet again, most of the storylines are dire, it is boring very little humour in the characters or stories. Both Emmerdale and Coronation Street have these qualities in spades, however when they are telling a dramatic story such as Daniels death there is humility, character, great understanding and empathy. Even Hollyoaks has a more vibrant nature to it s storyliines and characters.
