I don't think the bullying is racism at all. Lucinda is also bullied as both women are strong and independent but not vocal enough, therefore seen as easy targets. They could be green, yellow or pink with blue spots they would still be the easy targets. Bullies only recognise other bullies - if the Lucinda and Sara yelled back they wouldn't be bullied anymore. Not pleasant to watch for sure.
