Tonight's Big Brother final is set to be the closest ever according to bookmakers but, with viewing figures revealing this as the least popular series ever - does anyone actually care who wins?

While previous series have usually seen one or two housemates pull away from the rest to emerge as clear favouties with viewers, BB9 hasn't delivered anyone who stands out head and shoulders above the rest and the highlights have also been few and far between.

So, let's take a look at the final five:

Mikey: The bookies' favourite. I agree that he deserves to win, but only if you base your opinion on the new Mikey, the Mikey that has started to be hilarious and strong in the past few weeks ranting in the Diary Room, standing up to other housemates and becoming all playful. This concludes that he is acting now, or was acting before, as the old Mikey made my stomach turn the way he ate food, picked his nose, and generally was a mucky pup. The Scotch Bonnet Chilli eating was absolutely hilarious, one of the highlights of the show but only because he was so disgusting.
 
Rachel: Favourite with several online polls. She has been in the background of the show for a full 92 days and I can guarantee that both her final day and eviction interview will not be up to much. If she wins, she will win on a sympathy vote for being bullied throughout the series by Rex. What has she done that is memorable? Anyone?
 
Sara: Crowd favourite. Did you hear the cheers for her at Kat and Mohammed's evictions? She is a gem, I think she is a great all rounder but has not done anything that deserves her winning more cash. The only thing I will remember about her is her ear piercing voice - why does she have to scream and shout all the time? Rex has latched onto her as he sees her as a favourite since she survived over Lisa, Kat and Mohammed and he must think that if he sticks with her he has a better chance.
 
Rex: Outsider. Thinks he knows everything! He thinks he knows who is popular and how the show has worked. He has wrongfully lorded his 'position' on the outside world while inside the house and has proceeded to bully and talk down to everybody. There have been rumours and speculation about him being planted in the house unfairly, I don't think this is the case, I just think there are many more people out there that don't like him and are making up stories. His eyes showed his true thoughts when Kat was evicted "I have a chance of winning this...mwah ha ha ha ha!" No Rex you don't!
 
Darnell: Outsider. The guy can rap, the guy can sing but he can't control himself. Every single time he gets a slight bit frustrated I wince and wait for him to start smashing the house up. I am stunned he has not had a severe talking to about it and I am very surprised he is still there. He explained last night his dilemma - he is too white to be a white guy, not black enough to be a black guy, has a disadvantage over sighted people and an advantage over blind people. He doesn't fit into a stereotypical group - he needs help.
 
So who do I want to win? I would be happy if it was Mikey, Sara or Rachel but if it is Rex or Darnell I will have to have a serious think about whether I want to watch BB10 or not. The eviction show promises to be a nail-biting one - especially with the rain. Any bets on who will do a Marco and fall over?
