Chanelle Hayes has vowed to abandon her singing career if her debut single is not a success.

The Big Brother star said she will not release any more songs if sales of 'I Want It' prove disappointing.

The Press Association quotes her as saying "I've spent time in the recording studio and I've got all these songs for an album so if the single is a success then I'll do an album. But if it's not then I won't inflict any more pain on you all!"

The 20yearold revealed that she has taken steps to prepare for her new career, saying "I've had dancing and singing lessons and lessons on how to hold a mic. I'm really enjoying it, I love it. I'm dead proud of the single."

'I Want It' is released today.
