Fearne Cotton really is in demand at the moment having fronted the ill-fated Love Island, stepped out with Terry Wogan to host Eurovision Making Your Mind Up and featured in the Red Nose Day extravaganza.
Now it seems her talents have been noticed by the biggest talent show on the box and she has been snapped up to replace Ben Shepherd as the host of the X Factor spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
Shepherd quit the ITV2 programme when it was announced Dermot O' Leary would be taking over as the main show's host after Kate Thornton left.
The 32-year-old GMTV presenter was reportedly upset that he had been overlooked for the big job.
However, it seems the powers that be at ITV aren't too upset now they have Fearne Cotton in their sights.
"Fearne was top of our list - she's young, bright and is on top of the pop world with her Radio 1 show," said a spokesman.
They added: "We're in final discussions and hope to make an announcement soon."
